This is a great quote to remember before you need it!

And I wish I had remembered it before my night went off the rails!  I’m a big proponent of staying on track… but oh my goodness, totally missed the mark tonight.

I’ll make this short because I ran out of time, but here’s what happened.

I decided to start a project.  That means I was a little preoccupied.  At the same time one of our rental boats came in with a damaged prop and needed a new one.  As with normal procedure, the boat was pulled out of the water and our forklift driver generally removes and replaces with a new prop.

OMG.  The simple procedure turned into one road block after another… and sure enough, 30 minutes passed.

We can normally wrap up our closing process by around 8:15… we actually closed at 9:10… it was a nice night to be hanging out- but mannnnn as you can see the 30 minute delay quickly turned into an hour!

That’s why you really need to remember the quote for today.  Manage your time well, don’t let it manage you.  Concentrate!  Don’t let your day go off the rails! 🙂
