Look what I got in the mail! The new edition of the Vineyard Vines catalog.
The back page detailed their spring break offer. There are three different gifts, a hat, bag, and beach towel that you can get for free with increasing purchase amounts.
Here’s what I love, the more you spend, you don’t give up one item, but you keep it and gain the next.
Now even cooler than this was the back of one of our tool supply company catalogs. I opened it up shortly after soaking in my Vineyards Vines vibe… anyway – in the catalog it had an entire 8 page spread of rewards. Things like coolers, radios, golf balls. Things completely unrelated to the tools.
This is unique!
Imagine being the person responsible for ordering and you get to pick rewards based on dollars spent?! This just seemed like a really cool idea.
I know there are stores that have loyalty programs online.
But in the real world I haven’t seen a company do this, but it’s a brilliant idea for building loyalty and to keep your customers coming back time after time!
So whether it’s an increasing scale for your shopping or a specific loyalty program that is ongoing, people love free stuff. They love rewards and being rewarded.
The thing I really enjoyed about the tool company is that it was not company logo items, these were everyday items of value.
So give it a shot! Look into loyalty programs… it must might be a great way to appreciate your customers.
