Monday: Subject Matter Expert
Every business owner is a leader. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a leader… you are!
It’s hard to believe but when you place an ad and customers call you, you’ve already started the process toward leader and follower.
When you start to look at the relationship, especially your role as a leader, you will find it much easier to think of yourself as a Subject Matter Expert.
The purpose of being a Subject Matter Expert is to build trust among your customers and help them transition to being a part of your tribe. This comes from sharing your knowledge, whether in a blog, vlog, or podcast.
Information becomes a gift! A little surprise in their day. Think about the times you’ve searched for anything online. Like this morning. I woke up and had pain in my leg. I was able to search and find a “Subject Matter Expert” that taught stretching exercises… and guess what… relieved my pain.
What is it you can do for your tribe? How can you ease their pain? I’m getting right down to the base of the issue… but you are eliminating pain. Even if you are a dance studio and it’s a happy interaction! Ultimately, the parent wants their “pain” of not knowing the best activity for their child to be solved!
You can solve this.
