TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 660 – Is Your Refrigerator Running?

Quote: “Do not let yesterday’s setbacks affect today’s motivation.”

Wednesday: Midweek Motivation

It’s hard to get over a setback.  And by setback, I mean arriving at the store 5 minutes after it closes… or eating your ice cream cone and having it wobble off the cone to the ground.

The things that bum you out.  The things that make you go UGHHHHH and change your mood.

Guess what, if it happened yesterday, leave it yesterday.

You wake up today – it’s new!  Sometimes it’s easier than others, especially when the thing from yesterday… is like a bad soap opera that continues today – but do what you can to not let it affect you.

I’m saying this as my refrigerator STILL does not work! We’re on day 4… it started with the freezer melting everything inside… now it’s advanced to the fridge.  And if you’ve followed me for a while, you know how I like ice cold Diet Pepsi.

It’s crazy, but don’t let it affect today.

The repair has been ordered, the parts will arrive, and in a month it won’t matter. Therefore, you can’t let the setback affect today.
