The fourth “C” of the Infinity Marketing Machine is Customer, more specifically Infinity Customer. This is a person that joins your tribe and stays.  They are very loyal and purchase items “over and over and over”.  We like Infinity Customers.

Now… the thing to keep in mind is this… Your Infinity Customer can leave at any time, so don’t neglect your relationship.

It’s important that the information you provide is useful… but the other thing that is important is that you provide items they want to buy!

I was looking on Pinterest a couple days ago and came across this!

Can you see why this is important for us to study?

This is an Infinity Product!  Remember, the infinity product is one that can be replicated over and over.  But I really like this because it’s niche based.  If you had a business of nerds as your base.  This is your product!

T Shirts for science loving introverts that apparently don’t like pants.  haha

But look at the significance.  It’s a gray shirt with different words under a common theme that is niche based.

YES.

Learn from this product – because as you want to make money and seek that $1/per month per person on your email list, the infinity product is critical to your success.

Next Step… sit down and brainstorm your niche and the type of product that is desired from your group, then provide it!  If needed, throw them a nerd party!

Do you want to make money while you sleep?  This is the best thing ever.  When you wake up, check your email, and find that you have an order!

This is not new.

Prior to email… we used to walk to our mail box and see envelopes with checks.  Remember the informercial (before they were called informercials) you can make money while you sleep with one small ad!  I know you remember.  Then all you had to do was send in a couple dollars to find out the secret which was placing small classified ads in newspapers around the country.

Now with the internet, this doesn’t seem like a big deal.  But it was a HUGE deal back in the day, this kit included addresses of all newspapers across the country!  (not that I ever bought one of these packets)

OK, I’ll admit it.  I have a rule.  I can write down the 800 number (or nowadays, the website) but I cannot buy anything until morning.  OH my… someone is going to have to ban me from buying things on Instagram. Same thing, the ads are sooooooo enticing!

But back to the make money while you sleep.

Here’s the spin.  How about making “big money” over and over and over.

This is the new goal for a small business.  You need to learn to create an Infinity Product.  This is a product that has no upper limit. It rejuvenates itself.  For example, a downloadable book!  You create it once, and sell it again and again.

The reason I mention it is because it’s fun with something like this sells… you can check out my Best and Simple Social Media Planner that I sell on Etsy.  I love when it sells.  It inspires me to pass this message on to you all!  Work on your Infinity Products… yes, make more than one!

Episode #264 – Here’s How to Create Money… Every Day!

“A Businessman multiplies money but an entrepreneur creates it.”

Would you rather have your money double or would you rather create it?  I’d like both!  And really, any opportunity to increase your money has to be on your “do it” list, but let’s look at creating money.

Entrepreneurs have the ability to take nothing and seemingly out of thin air create money.  Think about it.  Regardless of what your business does, if your doors are closed you do not create money.  When you open for the day you start creating money.

Look at your business like a money printing press. (A legal one…)

Here’s what I mean… if you have a job, you go to work and make a set amount of money, or a set commission.   If you own a business, you create money.  There’s no set ceiling.  You can keep going, dare I say, to infinity. (haha) – but seriously, your upper end is not defined.  You create products or services and that did not exist until you thought of them.  That means the money to purchase these is created, too!

You are creating money!

It’s an awesome responsibility, but someone has to do it… that’s why when you can create an infinity product that never ends, like a digital book (Here’s Mine!).  You have truly created a money printing press. You created a product that will be made an infinite amount of times and the money is also created to purchase it.

When you stop to think about this, it’s amazing.

1-Create an infinity product.  Make a time line for it’s completion… but create it.  Start with a simple book.  Find your topic and write.  A good place to look is at the area of your business where you are asked the most questions.  This can be a very simple topic… but if you have the “I’ve done it” experience, someone just starting out will appreciate it.  Here’s the one I’ve created on Etsy

Episode #252 – Think Big… Then Think BIGGER!

How big do you think?  That’s the question of today’s inspiration… “There is no shortage of money, only a shortage of people not thinking big enough.” Grant Cardone

Lets’s think big.

You need an infinity product.  the end.

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday. She leases and office space and was thinking of subleasing her space because much of the day it stays empty.

That’s when I explained what an infinity product is to her.  She said, yes I do.

An infinity product is one that does not have an upper limit (or a realistic upper limit).  Think of a gym membership.  Once you have the building your membership base can grow and grow, you need very little extra equipment to sustain the growth.

Now compare Amazon to a shopping mall.  A shopping mall has a finite amount of store fronts.  Once that space is leased it’s full.  Amazon can continue to grow until infinity, there’s no upper cap on “store fronts”.

What is your infinity product?

I hear the groans.  You’re thinking, “I’m a service based business… it’s me!  How can I make more of me”

Quit thinking small.

You can be multiplied over and over and over with a book or video!  If you consult… is there  a common 10 questions you’re always asked?  Take those 10 questions and write a 20 page book.  Sell it online.  I don’t know, charge $7 and see what happens.

If you sell 1 you make $7…  If you sell 10 you make $70 – what happens if you sell 1000 you make $7,000.  You also gain the contact information of these people who are interested in your business and you can market to them over and over!

An infinity product might be a product you create over and over — like a can cooler or T shirt.

There are infinity products everywhere… create one!

Episode #234 – Make Money While You Sleep… But Do It To Infinity!

“Don’t stay in bed, unless you can make money in bed.” George Burns

That quote is really funny… I remember the old TV advertisements that promoted a system, “Place one tiny ad in the newspaper and watch the money roll in your mailbox” – this was the original equivalent to making money while you sleep.

Now it’s much easier!  You can make money while you sleep by selling products online.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to wake up, check your email and see new money!  Meaning, new orders.  You’ve got to find the way to  make this happen.

In fact, what’s even better is when you forget to mute your phone and you are woken up at 3:00am to the sound of the cash register ringing.  HA!  Perfect.

But really, the ultimate goal when you set up your Infinity Marketing Machine is to have one form of it connected to an Infinity Product that sells itself.  You may think of this like a product you sell on Etsy or eBay, but look even a little further.

Is there a product that you currently sell that can be converted into a subscription product?  That way every month, you receive payment.  Any long term rental product can be converted into a subscription… for example, the lease payment of your car!   Every month you pay the same amount, over and over.  Gym and health club memberships are subscriptions.  Time shares are also subscription based.  Maybe you sell T-shirts… is there a demand for a “T Shirt of the Month” club.  Look at what you already sell and see if there is something that can be converted into this “Infinity Product” type model.

For me, I’ve created the level one social marketing system. It’s a small calendar/guide that I’ve dubbed “Best and Simple“.  It allows you to practice your consistency and get into a habit.  It’s a digital product, therefore, it’s an Infinity Product.  It’s the same concept as a freemium, but it has more information, therefore, I charge for it.  But check it out to help understand how you can make money while you sleep… the ultimate reason we are all building our Infinity Marketing Machine!

Episode #157 – Don’t Get Left Behind, You Want an Infinity Product in Your Small Business

What you believe, you achieve.  If you believe you have money, you will.  If you believe you are poor, you are.  And remember there is a huge difference between being broke and being poor.  This all comes down to what you believe.

Well, what you believe and the action you take based on that belief.

Think about it, if income were based on the economy, no one would make money in an economic downturn.  There are people that make money regardless of if the economy is good or bad.  In fact some make a tremendous amount when the economy is bad.  And by economy, every business has a national economy and a local economy.  If you are a weather dependent business, you realize that the national economy could be stellar, but if there’s no snow and you own a ski resort…  your local economy sucks.  Which begs the point, how is it your philosophy?

Profit Centers are the ability to get all those eggs out of one basket.

It is today’s reality that we can reach unlimited local economies.  Granted you can’t move your ski resort (or make it show).  So, what can you do?  Sell season passes prior to the start of the season, think of it like a subscription based business, you pay regardless of if you use the product.  Next, enhance your online presence.  If you have a retail store with wholesale relationships, sell online.  Start to diversify so weather is less of a factor.  During a good weather season the main profit center feeds the others, but in a bad weather season, the secondary profit centers need to mitigate the risk.

Finally, if you want to elevate your income potential you have to become an Infinity Product business.  This is not just making money while you sleep.  We all can do that.  Put a product online and the next morning you wake up to sales.  That’s cool.  And I love it.  But you still need to make the product and ship it.  There’s a lot of work that goes into that “money while you sleep” concept.

What I’m talking about is your business needs a component that grows unlimited.  Stop for a moment and think about Amazon.  It is unlimited in it’s size potential, it’s kind of like the joke… “I was surfing the internet and reached the end”.  It’s impossible to reach the end of the internet, much like it’s impossible for Amazon to stop growing.   Amazon does not have a stopping point because more vendors will continue to join and sell things.  They are not inhibited by physical limitations.  They are different from a physical shopping mall… when all 100 store fronts filled up, the mall’s income potential (via rent) is reached.  What is your Amazon product?

Just to be clear, I’m not saying “what is the product you are going to sell on Amazon?”  I’m saying, “what is the product you are going to create to add to your business that has an unlimited in growth potential such as Amazon?”

To stir your creative juices… I have a real estate broker’s license in Illinois.  I live out of the State.  To participate in the continuing education requirement it used to involve my physically traveling to Illinois to sit in classroom training.  Therefore, the course was taught by one instructor with 30 students at $250 each.  OR… $7,500 per day ($250 x 30)…

The real estate school is a small business owned by the instructor who travels from area to area renting a classroom in cities around the State.  So in addition to promotion he has travel expenses, room rental cost, and a max number of students that fit in a class.  I took his class a couple years ago and I did not travel to Illinois.  He added a webinar format in compliance with Illinois license requirements.  Are you ready for the fun part?  The webinar was a simple video camera at the back of the classroom focused on him while he taught the standard course.  He had his 30 students in the room, but online there were 184 enrollees!!!!  He picked up an extra $46,000 (184 x $250) just by adding an unlimited growth product, otherwise known as an Infinity Product.

So I ask the question again…
