TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 720 – How to Use Your Education to Change Your World.

Quote: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

Monday: Subject Matter Expert

What do you think when you read today’s quote?  Do you think, people with education change the world… then get a little queasy when you think about your education and resentful.

Or maybe you have a great deal of education and wonder why you haven’t lived up to the quote.

Well, here’s the deal… let’s break down the quote and show you how super valuable it is.

One of the biggest components of your foundation as a Subject Matter Expert is your education.  BOTH formal and informal.  Any learning you’ve done to gain the expertise you have is valid.  If you’ve read books, attended seminars, taken classroom learning… what ever it is that you’ve done to learn what  you know, that’s education.

Do you see how Education is your most powerful weapon?

What makes you, YOU… the fundamental learning you’ve done, this is powerful!

Now the next part of the quote, it’s to change the world.

What is the world you are trying to change?  Is it world peace or is it to sell your product that makes someone’s life better?

The definition of “world” is quite subjective.  But if you’re here to learn about Tribeology and creating an Infinity Marketing Machine to make your business better… then… your “world” is your customers.

Your everyday goal is to make their world a better place anyway!   You’re already using your education to make the world a better place…

I’m here to get you to do this at the next level.  Start your blog or podcast, NOW.  Use your knowledge (education) to position yourself as a Subject Matter Expert among your tribe (world).

It’s time.

Start.

TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 709 – Eat the Kale.

Quote: “All you need is the plan, the road map & the courage to press on to your destination.” e.nightingale

Wednesday: Midweek Motivation

Do you have the courage?  This seems to be the big thing that stops people from achieving their goal.

Think about it.

You come up with a goal… you make a plan on how to achieve the goal. And congratulations. You’ve set a goal.

It’s like when you want to lose weight, so you go to the store, buy Kale.  You are so motivated for this “eat healthy” portion of your life to begin and you actually buy the Kale.

You get home, put it in the fridge… right next to the cookie dough.

Two weeks later, the Kale is moldy.

Setting the goal is easy and putting a plan in place is also easy — but actually having the courage to eat the kale… that’s difficult.

The ACTUAL taking action portion of your life is hard.  It’s the scary part that takes courage.

Today…

EAT THE KALE.

TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 708 – Trust Your Journey

Quote: “Stay patient and trust your journey.”

Tuesday: Content and Consistency

Have you ever wondered why I devote an entire day to “Content and Consistency”?  It’s because you need to utilize both of these skills in tandem.

You must have content

And

You must have consistency.

Your content needs to be relevant and important to your readers.  You need consistency to build trust with your tribe.

This ties back to yesterday’s post about your need to be a subject matter expert.  The more stature you have in your industry the better your message will have social proof.  The social proof also builds trust.

These are very important factors.

You might ask, why do this?  I mean, as long as you post something now and again, it’s OK, right?  Better than nothing?

It doesn’t exactly work like that… the way you can tell is if you “used to” have an email list and you tried sending something to it, you understand that you’ve send the equivalent of spam… no one remembers you and they wonder why the heck you’re sending them something.

When you make the decision to build a list you need to be “all in” your efforts will be rewarded, but if you hesitate it sure won’t help.  It won’t help because your tribe will miss you, it won’t help because it hurts your efforts, and it won’t help because your goal is to make money.  The sooner you go “all in” the sooner you’ll make money!

So what is this post about?

It’s a content piece for me, but it’s the type of content piece that communicates a message for you. It helps you understand my two pillars of “content and consistency”.  Instead of lecturing, it’s the opportunity to share, my goal is to show you the value of the two together.

TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 698 – Sandwiches Have Emotions, Too.

Quote: “Learn to express, not impress.”~Jim Rohn

Friday:  Big Money Small Change

This quote seemed perfect for explaining why I picked this post as the Big Money Small Change topic.

When you learn to express the emotion of your product you are less interested in the superficial aspects of the product.

I sell an egg, asparagus, and bacon sandwich.

Great.

What did your visual look like?  Did you have a red and white checker table cloth, black plate, yellow napkin with the sandwich in the middle?

How about a white linen table cloth, white plate with gold rim, and water glass with beads of water glistening in the sun.

Maybe you had an egg, hunk of bacon, and some veggies on a cutting board

There are endless ways to display this sandwich.

But what emotion are you trying to evoke?  When you answer this question, you will attract your tribe.

Look at this post.  Early morning cruise and a fabulous breakfast sandwich.  It also has a fork… you can feel the temperature, hear the wildlife, smell the water… you are in the emotion of the sandwich.

You feel relaxed and ready to eat.

If they said, “hey come on out, cruise around the bay, and eat our sandwich from our world famous chef”. You’d talk about the same “sandwich” but you would not achieve the same “emotion”

Don’t impress… just express!

TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 686 – See You Tonight!

Quote: “Act as if it’s happening… and watch small change happen.”

Friday: “Big Money Small Change”

Are you looking for a great way to increase sales without doing a hard sell?

Get creative on your posts.  It’s often a wonderful way to build your tribe AND inform your customers.  Remember… the goal is to switch from blogging for you to creating information that your customers desire, need, and makes you the trusted “go to” expert.

Look at this!

It’s a graet post with a beautiful photo and peaceful message fitting the vibe of the Yoga Studio — then there’s a twist.

“See you tonight” — with the times of classes.

It’s an implied closing for the sale — as a student “wavering” on attending class or a new person wondering if they should attend… they read it and BOOM! No options, we’ll see you tonight.

The photo gives the vibe and it’s followed through on the “see you tonight” – it’s easy AND it’s a great sales pitch without actually selling!

Well done!  An excellent way to increase sales by using all the hard work you’ve done to build the tribe.

TribeologyBlog.com – Episode 657 – How Small Details Make A Difference.

Quote: Life is a journey. Enjoy the ride!

Saturday: Try This

Enjoy, relax, take your time.  What does this mean?  This means be comfortable.

I enjoy being comfortable, I’m assuming you do… too.

Your customers also enjoy being comfortable.  Therefore, it’s important to consider ways to make them feel more at home.

This could be as simple as making sure your website has it’s certificate up to date, or having reading glasses for use to see small print on contracts or receipts.

Well…

This was a dream!  The grocery cart at Winn Dixie has actual cup holders fused to the handle area.  This small addition really makes it easy to enjoy your beverage while shopping the store.

Small attentions to detail make a difference!

Try This!
