How do I make more money at my small business? Great question. One way is by creating an email list and selling them things they want.
Sounds great, right?
Yes it does… and yes it works!
But let’s look at today’s quote: There’s no such thing as a shortcut when it comes to success.”
Yes… it’s simple to create a list. But the selling things they want is a little more complicated – and I don’t mean the picking of the products. I mean the consistency and long haul you need to create a community.
You see the list is the beginning.
The list is a tool. It’s the way… but it’s not the end. You need to provide consistent content that the group desires. Your content is the thing they crave. It’s the reason they come back, a.k.a. open your emails.
There’s no point to collecting emails if you contact the customers only when you want to sell something.
It’s OK to contact them when you want to sell something… and you should… it’s just that you should also make polite small talk with them on a consistent basis.
The small talk is the key. Give them cool ideas and encouragement to engage with you!
This is how you will achieve success. The method of the Infinity Marketing Machine is simple but it is not without effort. However, when you put the effort in, you will be rewarded.
