If you don’t like sales… if you don’t like going up to someone and saying “buy this” – how about a new approach.  This is what is fun about the Infinity Marketing Machine.

Making the decision to build a tribe and then finding products to offer them turns your efforts from “one and done” into “infinity”.

The “one and done” effort is your traditional sales.  This is when you ask someone to buy something… and by “ask” I mean, you have something for sale, whether your ask is by actually talking or it’s simply the process of writing text… it’s still a transaction based relationship.  It’s “one and done”

This is how “infinity” is much different.

When you transform to collecting and maintaining a list of people that you bond ou all of a sudden become the leader that shares knowledge and offers products you know your tribe wll want.

This is marketing and it’s marketing that doesn’t feel like marketing.  It feels more like relationship marketing. You develop the relationship with the intention of “infinity” and you keep going.

This is best done by offering content that is appreciated by your tribe and you do this on a regular basis.

Today I have sent out my newsletter to my Pontoon Girls – and I’ve created this blog for my Tribeologists.  I’m offering you content that is useful without it actually feeling like a post… it’s giving you information that is useful, helps you bond with me, and teaches you how to utilize the skill to your advantage with your tribe…

“I want to increase sales”  Do you feel like this?  You want to increase sales…?

YES, in business you want to make more money and this is done by increasing sales… so how do you do this?

Today I got a phone call from a telemarketer telling me how she’d love to sit down with me to discuss how to relist my website on Google so it can see all of the services I offer so people don’t miss out on what we sell.

You know what I did?

I said I’m not interested.  I don’t even use the internet for finding customers — OK that was a little bit of a stretch, but I wanted to get of the phone.  So she said, “what do you do?” My answer, “it’s proprietary”

Tired doesn’t even begin to describe how annoyed I am by these types of calls.  Here’s what comes next… you meet with the person and they say all the right things, and next you know you’re signing up for a monthly service of $500.

OK, so you know what I did?  Opened my email program and sent out an email and generated one sale for $3,000.

Don’t reinvent the wheel!  Win one customer at a time… I love the concept of this quote.

The reason I could generate one sale today was because of the email and constant communication I have with the customers on my list.

You don’t need to put an ad and continually try to find “new” customers — capture customers and engage them.  Become an expert and SPOIL them with information, fun, and a sense of belonging.  Make them part of your tribe!

When they like you there will come a point that you can send out an email and generate a $3,000 sale, too!

It’s that simple.  Create a list, talk to the list, find products the list needs!

But here’s the deal… it’s simple but not easy. This will take work.

However, if you want results this one customer at a time process works… if you don’t want to put in effort – you better chat with that woman I talked to on the phone today!

Where do you start?

The Infinity Marketing Machine is a pretty incredible tool.  It allows you to set your marketing in a way that you can guarantee some standard follow up.

But where do you start?

It’s great that a customer has an inquiry but how do you take care of that customer and plan for more at the same time work with those you have.

Well… that’s exactly it!  And it’s frustrating.

I’ve done this and I remember the insanity that it was to set up my machine.  But that’s exactly how I did it.

I focused on my current, right in front of me person first.  Why?   Well, I just spent a lot of money to get them… think about it.  They’re looking for something you offer and they are looking at you because you did some sort of advertising to get them… So capture them.

Next… I’d start getting potential customers under control by automating your processes.

As you finish up your one system you’re running a dual system with the second.  AND it’s hard.  I’m not going to lie to you – it takes effort.  There’s a point when you feel like giving in because it will be easier to just stop the new system.

But Don’t.

Keep going – you’ll be amazed that you did!  It really is worth the effort.  You will save time, money, and serve your customers at a higher level.

The reason I say that you need to keep going is because I remember the process AND I just went though a second cumbersome process of learning an entirely new automation process… and I did want to give up.

I wanted to give up really really bad.

But yesterday I sold ONE thing — that’s it… just one magical little product.  BUT the actual automated process worked and the hundreds of hours I put into the front end were SOOOOOOOOOO worth it on the back end.

Just one little sale and dang it… it is extremely exciting.

Just one.

But you know what I can do next?… double my sales!

hahahaha!

Customers do not give you money.  You may wonder… “what the heck?” — of course they give you money.

Not so fast.

You exchange money for goods and services.  To “give” you money implies that you are standing with your hand out and magically you have a line of customers with open wallets throwing money at you!

Knowing that this scenario simply doesn’t happen, how do you get customers to exchange money with you?

It’s about value!

When you provide value higher than your competitors your customers find you and they stay.

So how do you provide value?  By discovering what they want and giving it to them.  This is the best part of the Infinity Marketing Machine.

You provide the value to attract your tribe.  The content you create is your vibe and when it reflects your business personality your customer stick around… for a long time.

They buy from you because you provide a value.  It’s not the value of free shipping, double quantities, or low price.  It’s the value of your personality.

Get to the heart of your personality through content and you will create Infinity Customers.

You want to create an email for your customers.  Easy… well, it should be.  But, you’ve got to plan.

The plan comes from coordinating it with your other messaging.  The goal is to provide your customers with information they desire… remember this is the way to build credibility by getting your customers to know, like, and trust you.

However…

You need to be respectful of their time.

What I mean by this is that you cannot bombard them with lots and lots of messages all at one time!

Well, how do you keep 5,000 people or 50 people all coordinated on their journey?

You need to plan… and plan well.  Develop your ideal journey that your emails will take.  If you start a welcome series and it runs everyday for 5 days, don’t have the customer immediately start your weekly newsletter right away.  Wait until the first Tuesday after the welcome series is completed.

See what I did?

Regardless of the day of the week the welcome series is started, your customers all funnel down to the one day of the week that your weekly newsletter is sent… THEN, all 5,000 (or 50) people are on the exact same journey!

Pretty cool, eh?

It’s the way of making your job of creating new emails… simple!

It’s time for Content & Consistency… and guess what?!? My message is the same… be consistent.

But it’s a little more than that.  Let’s think about consistency for a quick moment.

You could never be an Olympic athlete or even play on the High School sports team unless you regularly practice.  You regularly develop you skills.

Your content is exactly the same!

I know… you may not see the value, because… you feel like you’re talking to yourself.

Guess what, you might be right now, but soon someone will search and find the post, video, or podcast episode you created.

Think about it.  While you are creating for today – it’s not “one and done” because when you post it becomes searchable.

This is the magic of the Infinity Marketing Machine!

When you create it compounds.  So it’s not just one article sitting is space… it’s every day compounded on the previous day… so I’m on episode 617… how crazy is that.  That give someone the opportunity to find over 600 posts I’ve written.

If you started last month and wrote twice a week you’d have 8 posts… when you write it becomes more natural.  It becomes easier.  And you build a voice to better relate to your audience… in essence your consistency builds your vibe!

An amazing vibe does not just happen, it is created, crafted, and practiced… and just like the athlete you cannot excel without practice.  So today’s quote is true… Success is never an accident, it’s a choice.

Here’s the fun thing… last week I said you need to “live Tribeology” – well… the success of Tribeology is based on your vibe… and we just discovered that your vibe is based off of practice.
