“Make a customer, not a sale.”

Do you agree with today’s inspiration, “make a customer, not a sale”?
Say “yes” and it’s a good thing, right? Say “no” and it’s a bad thing, right? Well, maybe we should flip this upside down and say, “we do not want to make a customer”
What does that mean?
As we’ve learned over the years we want to make customers. Build that relationship so they’re not buying a product but they’re a relationship.
Wheat happens if you transform from this “one and done” transaction basis of business to the tribe process.
Instead of being “nice” until they buy… let’s be nice AFTER they buy. We need to focus on the long game, the difference between a sprint and a marathon. When we promote our brand and attract people that want to hang out with us, we can build something very exciting…. and that’s an Infinity Customer!
I like focusing on a customer versus a sale – but I REALLY like focusing on a tribe instead of a customer.
My favorite Tribe Techniques
1- Consistent communication. Pick the way you want to communicate, blog, vlog, or podcast. Then pick the schedule – is it twice a week, three times a weeks… maybe everyday? Just pick it and do it!
2- Create your ideal client or follower – make a detailed list of their characteristics and go find them!
3- Make a list of 10 topics that your followers will be interested in…
Then repeat the list, make your content, keep monitoring the ideal client, and keep the topics coming!
